Membership of ELSA London is open to anyone studying or undertaking legal training at any institution within the Greater London area. Applications from students at institutions in neighbouring counties will also be considered. Enrolled part-time students and those studying at the Open University or taking London University external degrees (wherever they may live in the world) may also apply to join ELSA London. Associate membership will be offered to lawyers, lecturers or anyone else involved in any legal field.
If you would like to join ELSA London please complete and return this application form.
Please note, two email addresses are required, one of which must be a college email address (failing this, a work email address may be substituted). If you are unable to provide an academic email address you will need to explain why.
N.B. Membership is not automatic and can be refused at the discretion of the Board.
The membership fee is currently £15 per full 12 months. All members will receive an ELSA London membership card which they will be able to use on any pages of this site should they become restricted in the future. The card will also be proof of your membership status should you wish to gain free or reduced cost entry to ELSA events. After you have completed the application form, you may send it and fee to:
ELSA London (memberships)
16 - 20 Lancaster Road
London N4 4PR
Cheques and/or postal orders should be made payable to "ELSA London".
| Info Due to the fact that there are only 4 ELSA groups in the UK, ELSA London is now able to accept membership applications from students from outside London. If you are a law student at any UK institution - except Bristol, Durham, Exeter or Kent - and you wish to join ELSA, you are welcome to submit an application to us. The Membership Form can be downloaded from this page (see above). Members attending law schools outside of London will be entitled to a £5 discount on their membership fee. |
