1. Carol and Angelika will attend the Innocence Project Training/seminar next weekend @ Bristol University.

2. No discussion was possible about rooms for Innocence Project due to absence of two members.
1. The format and design of the Law Review was discussed. Clemens and Fabienne will be Editors-in-Chief taking responsibility for both the online and hard copy Law Reviews. It was agreed that in order to have conformity throughout the Law Review, all works submitted MUST be written in British English. Writers using American spellings will be requested to change this before submitting any work for consideration.
3. It was agreed that Fabienne and Clemens would draft a Call for Assistant Editors which would then be circulated to students at Member Universities. Once a suitable number of candidates has applied, they will be invited to attend an informal meeting with Clemens, Fabienne and Carol. It is hoped that this meeting will take place within the next 2 - 3 weeks. All Editorial Team must be ELSA members
.
4. In addition to student editors, the Law Review will be inviting certain academics to assume honorary positions. These academics will be used to assure quality control of works which will be published in the annual Law review (hard copy).
5. It was agreed the first printed edition of the ELSA London Law Review should be available for the start of the next academic year i.e. October 2008. Editors will therefore be expected to do work during the summer holiday.
1. It was decided that the oral rounds of the ELSA London Moot competition should take place before the Easter holidays - probably in March 2008. The problem will be one of CONTRACT.
2. A call will be issued for an OC (organising team). All OC must be ELSA members
.
3. It was agreed that ELSA London should endeavour to organise an ECJ simulation. Simone will look into what is required to organise such an event and will seek advice from academic contacts in Italy. Carol will also seek advice from academic contacts at King's College.
4. Ulrich is still waiting to hear back from staff at UCL whether they might consider running a mooting workshop from UCL. James was absent so we do not yet know whether he had any success finding someone from Lincoln's Inn.
Miriam volunteered to help with marketing as she had held a similar position in ELSA Mannheim.
Angelika's friend has agreed, in principle, to film podcasts/infomericials for the ELSA London website. We now need to write a script.
It was agreed that the next meetings should be sub-committee meetings.
• Clemens, Fabienne and Carol will meet with potential editors in 2 -3 weeks.
• Simone and Carol will meet to further define the ECJ simulation and will then issue a call for an OC (Organising Committee)
• Ulrich and Carol will meet to clarify issues relating to the Contract Moot Comp and will then issue a call for an OC
The next full Committee meeting will take place towards the end of November/Beginning of December 2007. Date tbc.
