YEPPIES - Young European People in Turin

Via Po Monviso Massif (glacial lake)

Olympic Night
One of the BIGGEST student parties E-V-E-R!!!
From
Thursday 25th January to
Sunday 28th In Turin, N. Italy there will be a huge gathering of members of various international student associations from different countries and different faculties (law, business, medicine, etc) for 2 days of socialising, networking, sport and culture. The event is set to co-incide with the Winter Universiade (university olympics) so you should be able to see some sport. In fact, the programme includes a morning of half-pipe for those of you into snowboarding!
This YEPPIES event is sponsored by the Turin municipality so you will not have to pay for anything once you get there.
Free accomodation will be provided in gyms (you'll need your own sleeping bag but beds will be provided!) or you can ask to be hosted by students in their homes (places permitting). If this is not quite your thing, there is also the possibility of discount accomodation in hostels, just contact the OC (Organising Committee).
Free meals on 26th and 27th are also included in this offer!
ELSA members are invited to attend but if you have friends who are members of
JADE,
AIESEC or any of the student groups listed
here then feel free to let them know about this YEPPIES invitation. If your friends belong to associations not listed on the website. they should still contact the
OC as the Italians want to make this a truly huge event and so are likely to welcome any and all applications from BONA FIDE students.
In summary then, if you fancy a couple of free days in Turin, at the university olympics mixing with students from all over Italy and Europe, then you should definitely send an application to the organisers.
For more information about this gathering at the XXIII Winter Universiade, please visit the YEPPIES website
NB.
Deadline for applications 12th January.
