Study Visits Guide (1st edit.) 2006

On nearly every ELSA website you will see references to the fact that ELSA is an independent, non political, not-for-profit association. Each website will also tell you that ELSA is the largest international association of law students in the world (bigger than ILSA, for example). You will see references to 35 countries , 220 local groups and between 25 - 30,000 members. These are just numbers. In an effort to give flesh to the numbers, the idea of creating a Study Visits Guide was born. The Study Visits Guide (SVG) is an illustrated compendium of Local Groups throughout the ELSA network.

The SVG should be viewed as a showcase of the local groups, an advertisement of their cities, towns or countries, an enticement to other local groups to visit them. Even if you do not plan to take part in a Study Visit or group exchange, the SVG has some rather beautiful pictures of places with exotic names. Why not download the PDF and take the time to discover a little bit of the ELSA network?

N.B. This is the first edition of the guide and as such does not contain information from all 220 groups. London, Cambridge and Durham are among the groups which did not provide entries but rest assured, ELSA London will make sure to have an entry ready in time for the publication of the 2nd edition - whenever that is.

The SVG can be downloaded from the following link: Study Visits Guide (First Edition) 2006
